November is no time to be meek about professional matters, as two of astrology's toughest planets hook up in a tense 90-degree square that leaves little room for uncertainty. Strict Saturn and potent Pluto form this major angle on November 15, coloring much of the month with a serious tone that may require making some big decisions. Examining economic issues very carefully could reveal that the situation you're in will not meet your needs. While it's possible to hang on with less income for a while, it's clear that this isn't a viable long-term strategy.
When evaluative Venus enters Scorpio on November 7 we tend to become more aware of what's lacking, either in cash flow or satisfaction. The Sun's presence in Scorpio until November 21 underscores the need to examine risks versus rewards and consider making major changes. Sometimes it's better to bite the bullet now, even coming into the holiday season, than to put up with a slow drip of financial descent. Consider investing time and money in education or entrepreneurship that may not pay off for months, but which can radically alter your work life in a positive way. Even the Full Moon in stable Taurus on November 2 is pointing in this direction. Normally, the Bull likes to stick with what it's got, but aggressive Mars' challenging square to this Sun-Moon opposition is driving toward a more creative future. The bottom line: if your professional life is not taking you where you want to go, it's time to think about tearing it down and starting all over.
